Computer Engineering is one of the fastest growing fields with evolution since its beginning.

We are one of the youngest Computer Engineering departments in Sri Lanka, which offers the most updated curriculum. We offer two minor areas under the specialization: High performance computing and Data management. Both minors are emerging areas in the field.
The department academic staff members are from various fields of computer engineering, computer science and etc.
Our laboratories are equipped with the latest high performance machines and tools. The trained technical staff is always ready to help our students in their studies and projects.
I am happy to mention that students have adapted quickly to the COVID19 pandemic situation occurred in early 2020 and continue studies while understanding the current and future trends in the field. Nevertheless, computer sector is one of the less interrupted fields by the pandemic.
