1st AGM of the IEEE Engineering and Medicine and Biology (EMBS) Sri Lanka Chapter was held on 14th January 2022. Three staff members from the Department of EE, USJ, were elected for the executive posts of the chapter. Dr. Vidura Jayasooriya was appointed as the secretary of the chapter. Dr. Akila Subasinghe and Ms. Umaya Balagalla were elected as treasurer and assistant treasurer respectively.
Further, the first Tech Talk organized by the IEEE EMBS chapter was held on 5th March 2022 which was initiated by Dr. Vidura Jayasooriya. The session was moderated by Ms. Umaya Balagalla
