The system comprises a fluorescence microscope with automatize stand, a camera unit, and a dedicated computer workstation. Dr. Akila Subsinghe, Dr. Vidura Jayasoriya and the other lecturers\u00a0 in biomedical engineering envisage to provide knowledge on utilization of microscope technology to our students in conducting cutting edge research work in the areas of biomedical Image processing, lab on a chip technology, micro fluidics and nanotechnology.
