Apply corrosion knowledge and practices for industry

4 Days

Corrosion is multidisciplinary in nature affecting almost all industrial sectors. Losses due to corrosion are enormous resulting significant economic and social impacts, highlighting the dire need for a proactive approach to control corrosion. However, the lack of knowledge and experience in corrosion and corrosion protection among local industry remains the main obstacle. To address this need, case-study based module is structured to cover the essential knowledge on industrial corrosion problems and protection strategies.

Computer Aided Design

4 Days

The course covers a wide range of CAD topics, from the basics of 2D and 3D modelling to more advanced techniques like simulation and optimization. Participants will gain practical experience using industry-standard software such as AutoCAD and SolidWorks, and will learn how to develop technical drawings and specifications for various applications. Additionally, the course will provide insights into the latest trends and developments in the CAD industry. By the end of the course, participants will have a solid foundation in CAD principles and be equipped with the necessary skills to succeed in a variety of design-related careers.
