Electronic Workship: A CSR Project with Synopsys Lanka

The E2 Club of the Faculty of Engineering, University of Sri Jayewardenepura, successfully conducted a CSR initiative aimed at uplifting technical literacy among school students on 4th November 2025 at the Mattegoda Engineering faculty premises. Organized in collaboration with Synopsys Lanka, a global leading electronic company, this project focused on developing knowledge on electronics and coding for the next generation.

The workshop provided students with hands-on experience in building circuits and understanding modern technology, bridging the gap between theoretical school science and practical engineering applications.

To permanently bridge this gap, Synopsys Lanka went further by supplying STEM Lab facilities to three schools where such resources were critically needed. The project also featured a staff development program, where Gavesha and Magicbit facilitated an awareness session for staff.
