E2 Club  

Electrical and Electronic Engineering Club (E2 Club) of University of Sri Jayewardenepura (USJP) is the prestigious social arm of the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering. Membership of the E2 Club is open to all undergraduate/ postgraduate students and members of the academic/ academic support/ technical staff attached to the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, USJP. E2 Club promotes professional interest in the area of Electrical and Electronic Engineering and establishes closer interactions among members. The club intends to inspire its members towards personal and societal developments as applicable to Electrical and Electronic Engineering. The activities of the E2 Club include, but not limited to, organizing guest talks, presentations, field visits, workshops, competitions, carrier fairs, fun activities, and charity projects.

Achievements

  • Quarantine Care: a mobile application developed to facilitate the self-quarantine process.

  • Cobee: an autonomous robot developed by our students has been selected by SLASSCOM for their mentorship program.

  • EE and CO students were selected to showcase their innovations at “Sahasak Nimawum”, 2019 International Exhibition.

  • Students presenting projects and exhibits in the “J’pura INNOVATE SRI LANKA”, 2019 Exhibition at BMICH.
