The Browns & Company PLC organized an IoT and Industry 4.0 workshop for engineering undergraduates of the Department of Electrical & Electronic Engineering, University of Sri Jayewardenepura, on the 19th of June 2026 at Browns Industrial Park, Katunayake. The main purpose of this workshop was to provide insights into how IoT and Industry 4.0 concepts are applied in real-world industrial applications, showcasing some IoT devices and solutions developed by the company. A group of students from 3rd year (Batch 08) and 2nd year (Batch 09) participated in this workshop. Students were motivated to do more IoT projects that will be advantageous for solving real-world problems or issues after conducting that session.
