An autonomous robot that could assist disinfection and identification in health care centers was developed by a group of students in the Electrical and Electronic Engineering department (Thushara, Udara, Sajana, Kasun, Vindula, Sanara, Akini, Tharindi, Erandi, Yeshika, Sahan and Chanuka). As a result of the success achieved at the versusCOVID competition organized by IEEE chapter of University of Peradeniya, this was selected by SLASSCOM for their mentorship program.
