The semester 3 (batch 8) students participated in a field visit to Lakvijaya Power Plant (LVPP) the 19th of July 2025. The primary objective of this visit is to provide students with an opportunity to observe the main concepts of thermal generation in Sri Lanka. And also aims to learn about electrical power generation and transmission, safety and protection systems at the power plants, and what are the maintenance of these thermal plants.
