The Browns & Company PLC organized an IoT workshop for engineering undergraduates of the Department of Electrical & Electronic Engineering, University of Sri Jayewardenepura, on the 14th of November 2025 at Browns Industrial Park, Katunayake. The main purpose of this workshop was to provide insights into how IoT concepts are applied in real-world industrial applications, showcasing some IoT devices and solutions developed by the company.
The session left all the undergraduates feeling inspired. A group of students from 3rd year and 4th year participated in this workshop. Students were motivated to do more IoT projects that will be advantageous for solving real-world problems or issues after conducting that session.
