Huawei ICT competition is a competitive ICT challenge exchange event developed by Huawei for global undergraduate students. The competition is a practice-based competition and students can participate under two tracks: Network track (IP technologies such as Datacom, Security, and WLAN) and Cloud track (IT technologies such as Cloud, Big data, Storage, and Artificial Intelligence).
At the national stage, one team from each track is qualified for the Regional Final competition representing the country. The National Final competition took place recently and the national winners were announced.
In the Network track, H.M.S.S Herath from the Department of EE, FoE, USJ won second place.
M.M.P Fernando and A.W.W.M.R.H.M.B Aluvihare from the Department of EE, FoE, USJ were selected in the top ten in Network track and cloud track, respectively.
Accordingly, the following students of USJ won the Huawei National Finals and have been selected for the Regional Finals representing Sri Lanka.
