Dr. Vidura Jayasooriya obtained his B.Sc. in Electrical and Electronic Engineering in October 2014 from the University of Peradeniya. Upon completion of his undergraduate studies he joined the industry and worked for an year before starting his postgraduate degree in 2016. He obtained his Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from North Dakota State University, USA in 2020.

 

Research Interests:

Biomedical Instrumentation, Bio Sensors, Computational Simulations for Biomedical Engineering, Smart Grids and Power Electronics, Applications of geographical information systems  in utility network analysis, Demand side management, Power systems simulations and analysis.
