A remarkable achievement by Ms. Windhula Gammanpila, from the Faculty of Engineering, University of Sri Jayewardenepura, for winning the Best Presentation Award at the 12th World Sustainability Forum (WSF-12) held at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University.

Her award-winning research, “Equitable Electricity Transitions in Sri Lanka: A Sustainability Index Incorporating Battery Energy Storage,” presents an innovative approach to building a more sustainable, equitable, and resilient energy future for Sri Lanka.
