The Department has relaunched their Product Development Laboratory as “NextGen Lab”. The NextGen Lab will serve as a resource center for postgraduate research, undergraduate research, and collaborative research. Within the NextGen lab, separate labs will be established in the future targeting specialized areas. At present, the lab has collaborations with several industry partners including, Orel corporation, SLINTEC, and SLT Mobitel. Further, the lab will facilitate research students to enhance knowledge in research and development activities by conducting training sessions, workshops, and webinars.
