Dr. Praween is currently working as a senior lecturer in the department of Civil Engineering. He has successfully obtained his first degree from the faculty of engineering, University of Peradeniya in 2012 with a first-class honors. After that, he was able to receive the MEXT scholarship awarded by the Japanese Government to complete the Masters and the PhD in Hokkaido University. He completed MEng and PhD degrees specializing in Environmental engineering in 2015 and 2018. His research interests are solid waste management, water, wastewater and septage treatment.
