Dr. Thilaksiri Bandara obtained his B.Sc.Eng. (Hons) degree in Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering with a first class from University of Ruhuna. He served to the same department as a lecturer before he moved to Australia for higher studies. He received his Master of Philosophy (M.Phil.) degree from University of Melbourne, Australia. Dr. Bandara obtained his Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree from RMIT University, Australia. He joined the Department of Mechanical Engineering, University of Sri Jayewardenepura in 2017 after working for few years in Australia. He is an associate member of the Institution of Engineers Sri Lanka. His research interests include Microfluidics and Heat transfer, Electronic cooling and Renewable Energy.
