Mr. Vishwa Athukorala joined the Department of Interdisciplinary Studies in November 2017 and delivers courses in Engineering Measurements, Accounting, Economics, and Management.

He holds an Honours Degree in Mechatronic Engineering from the General Sir John Kotelawala Defense University, a Post Graduate Diploma in Industrial Automation from the University of Moratuwa, and a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from the University of West London, United Kingdom. Currently, he is reading for a Master’s Degree in Industrial Automation at the University of Moratuwa.
Mr. Vishwa is an Associate of the Charted Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA), United Kingdom.  He is also a Charted Global Management Accountant (CGMA), a Certified Practising Accountant – Australia (CPA Aust.), and an associate member of the Institution of Engineers, Sri Lanka (AMIESL). 

His research interests include Industrial Automation, Engineering Economics, and AI applications in Finance.
