Mr. Gayantha Kodagoda graduated from the Department of Mechanical Engineering, University of Moratuwa in January, 2020. He is an Associate Member of the Institution of Engineers, Sri Lanka (IESL). He joined the Department of Interdisciplinary Studies in March, 2020 and currently delivers courses in Engineering Mathematics, Numerical Methods, Newtonian Mechanics and Lagrangian Dynamics.

Mr. Gayantha is reading for for his MPhil degree in Engineering at the Faculty of Graduate Studies, University of Sri Jayewardenepura. His research is focused on developing a decision support model to analyze Tank Cascade Systems of Sri Lanka for sustainable maintenance.

His research interest areas are Numerical modeling, UAVs, Aerial Manipulators, Underwater drones, Robotics, AR and VR.
