Dr. Charita Darshana Makavita received his BSc. Eng. (Hons) degree in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering, and his MSc. in Electronics and Automation from University of Moratuwa in Sri Lanka, in 2008 and 2014 respectively. He obtained his PhD from the University of Tasmania (UTAS) in Australia in 2018. He is a Member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers (IEEE), USA and an Associate Member of the Institute of Engineers, Sri Lanka (IESL).He worked as a Lecturer/Senior Lecturer in the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering at the CINEC Campus from 2009 to 2019 prior to joining the University of Sri Jayewardenepura.
