Dr. Geethal Siriwardana holds a Bachelor of Science of Engineering (B.Sc.Eng.) in Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering from the University of Ruhuna, a Master of Engineering (MEng) degree from the University of Moratuwa, and has completed his PhD at the University of Sri Jayewardenapura. His doctoral research focused on ‘Numerical Modelling of Nanofluid-Based Two-Phase Flow in Microchannels with Heat Transfer.’ Presently, he holds the dual memberships of Associate Member with the Institution of Mechanical Engineers (iMechE), United Kingdom, and Associate Member with the Institution of Engineers, Sri Lanka (IESL). He has served as a trainee engineer for Srilankan Airlines Ltd. and Ceylon Tobacco Company PLC and has held positions as a mechatronics engineer and industrial engineer at prominent technology and manufacturing firms. His research interests are computational fluid dynamics, aerodynamics, microfluidics, and heat transfer.
