The library of the Faculty of Engineering contains all the relevant books in the four major disciplines of Engineering along with supportive subject areas and other relevant reading materials. Undergraduates are allowed to borrow 4 books at a time; 01 Scheduled Reference book and 03 Lending books. Permanent reference collection, related newsletters, magazines and journals are accessible within the Library. Currently, there is seating capacity for 45 users at any given time.
Students could also use the computers and laptops in the Faculty Library to access electronic databases and journals linked under E-resources of the Library Website via http://lib.sjp.ac.lk/. The usual opening hours of the library are from 8.00 am to 4.00 pm on weekdays. Library is closed on weekends and public holidays. However opening hours could be extended based on special requirements during the examination periods.
